Friend R.
Business has been more favorable to day than before – My Sales have been 7 or 8 dollars, but not much gain. S. Smith has visited me several times and appears somewhat inquisitive to know my prices: tho friendly – I have not charged one dollar yet; but taken several Due bills – I left a bill of some articles that I wanted with L. Laing -- and mentioned that S. Thorn expected to be down there soon, to whom I have spoken to fetch them But plase to forward them the first opportunity; as the time of his coming is rather indefinite --- Please amex your retail price to each article --
2 looking glasses 1 pr Shovel & tongs that were left
1 [Pane?] glass [9] x 7 3 or 4 watch keys left also
2 or 3 lb of Chalk
