Description
Nederlands: Ken je het fenomeen dat jouw colablikje ineens een rare knik maakt en van vorm verandert? Gek, maar vrij onschuldig. Ditzelfde fenomeen kan echter ook voor serieuze problemen zorgen. Stel je maar voor: zo'n zelfde knik, maar dan in een rails, dan ontspoort je hele trein. Wat deze "knik" precies is en hoe dit zelfs veroorzaakt kan worden door een simpele onschuldige vlieg demonstreert André de Boer (Universiteit Twente) in dit college.
