English: Rough Grazing, Bolton Parks The fellside to the north of Bolton Castle is now largely sheep pasture and rough grazing, but at one time it was divided into several different deer parks [Blackhill Park, Bull Park, East Park etc.] where the deer could be hunted by the Scrope family and guests from the castle. |
