Description
Deutsch: Wenige Meter östlich der Marienkapelle in Obervorholzen 2 steht die Kreuzsäule an der Südseite der Straße zwischen Oberroning und Högldorf. Der Marterlstock besteht aus einem rechteckigen Quader der auf einem breiteren Fundamentstein ruht. Der auskragende Aufsatz enthält eine oben abgerundete Schrifttafel aus Kehlheimer Marmor. Darüber ist in einer Nische ein Kleeblattkreuz eingearbeitet. Der Stein verjüngt sich weiter oben und schließt mit einem geschwungenen Spitzdach. Das Erscheinungsbild erinnert an einen Grabstein, weil sich auf der Vorderseite des Sockels eine Weihwasserschale auf einer Säule befindet. Die Schrift auf der Tafel ist stark verblasst. Es könnte heißen: "Errichtet von Andreas Müller ..."
