English: Roman ditch at the site of Milecastle 34 on Hadrian's Wall The wall to the left encloses a copse on the site of Milecastle 34 on Hadrian's Wall. Flagstones have been laid to preserve the surface of the Hadrians Wall National Trail which runs 135 km from Bowness-on-Solway to Wallsend.
