English: Roman Wall Country Show 2008 at Steel Rigg An unusual view of one of the most spectacular sections of Hadrian's Wall. The Roman Wall Country Show held at Steel Rigg is the biggest sheep show in England, and a very important venue for the breeders of Blackface Sheep. Fortunately, the weather remained fine - it would be a particularly exposed spot in bad weather. |
