| Description |
English: Road at Kileen near Newry. Looking north at Kileen (pronounced "Kil'yin") at the crossing from Co Louth to Co Armagh in 1980. Contrary to the tales of heroic tourists the army checkpoint was further north close to here 608597. This is no longer part of the main Dublin - Belfast road. The new road (which is a high-quality dual carriageway and not (repeat not) a motorway is to the west. |
