Summary
[edit]DescriptionRiver Stour near Upper Mitton Bridge - geograph.org.uk - 776329.jpg |
English: River Stour near Upper Mitton Bridge The River Stour has come from the Wilden direction and at this point it is about to take a sharp bend to run parallel with the Staffs & Worcs Canal for a short distance. In this area the river is at a much lower level than the canal. The white object that can be seen surfacing in the foreground of the river is an old door. For a small minority of people, the River Stour is unfortunately a favourite spot for disposing of unwanted junk. |
