Description
English: The remains of the Gun Carriage and Turing Shop of the Fayetteville Arsenal. This is the area where most of the wood working took place. Little more than foundations remain of the Fayetteville Arsenal in Fayetteville, North Carolina. The facility was destroyed in March of 1865 by Union troops of Major General William Tecumseh Sherman during his army's march through the Carolinas.
