Another classic ragtime piece, so well written, that needs to be saved from the jaws of obscurity. Imogene (Daisy) Giles was from Quincy, Illinois where she was established as a pianist and music teacher and helped run her husband's music business, which also published this rag in 1907. It's her only known rag and leaves one wondering what she could have done if she had been able to publish more of these.

Score #34 in my current set series "Women Ragtime Composers". The others uploaded so far can be found at this link: https://musescore.com/user/36482158/sets/5111102

This rag also appears in Virginia Eskin's CD "Fluffy Ruffle Girls - Women in Ragtime". This series is featuring most of the ragtime era selections from that CD.

The original score was found at the Charles Templeton Collection at Mississippi State University at this link: https://scholarsjunction.msstate.edu/cht-sheet-music/2715/ This is a reproduction of the original score. There were some minor corrections, such as re-aligning the unison in measure 1 and adding naturals to the final C octave in measures 54 and 88.
