Summary

[edit]
Description
English: This temple from the famous Kakatiya Dynasty dates back to 11th century. Named after it's architect Ramappa, it stands as a classic example of architectural genius of the people of that era. This photo captures the 'stacked plates' pattern unique to their architectural design. In the event of a natural disaster, this design allows this to slide and slip away instead of crumbling down.
This is a photo of ASI monument number
N-TG-07.
