Description
English: Fragment van het uit 15 pakken bestaande dossier in de zaak Willem Hendrik van Panhuijs bij de Raad van Brabant in Den Haag. De procureur-generaal van de Raad van Brabant, Van Oldenbarneveld genaamd Witte Tullingh, begon in 1797 een criminele procedure tegen Jan Hubert van Slijpe, ex-vice-hoogschout van Maastricht, luitenant-kolonel Jan Anthonie Christiaan de Salve de Bruneton, zijn echtgenote Arnoldina Elisabeth Heldewier, de landbouwers Pieter Habets en Nijst Trachts in Klimmen (wegens mijneed), Johannes Hendrik Rooth, notaris in Maastricht (wegens afleggen van valse verklaringen) in de zaak tegen Willem Hendrik van Panhuijs, rentmeester domeinen en geestelijke goederen in de Landen van Overmaze, die door voornoemden was beschuldigd van het onderhouden van contacten met de veroordeelde en verbannen ex-kolonel Seuillard de Leefdaal. Van Panhuys won de zaak. De verliezers werden veroordeeld; Van Slijpe stierf in gevangenschap in Den Haag voordat het vonnis was uitgesproken.
