The Quest was Queenstown Secondary Technical School’s school magazine. Produced by the school’s teachers and students, the magazine covered the school’s academic and extra-curricular activities, and published student contributions in English, Malay and Chinese and Tamil.

Queenstown Secondary School (former Queenstown Secondary Technical School) was Singapore’s first technical school. The all-boys school was opened in 1956 to meet the demand for skilled workers in the mid-1950s as Singapore’s economy underwent diversification.

The magazine contains photographs of school staff, prefects, CCA, school and sport events. Includes speeches made at Prize-giving Day, Speech day, report on Technical Week Exhibition, compositions by students in English, Malay and Chinese, and reports from CCA groups. Advertisements from local businesses.
