English: Purston Park. Once the grounds of Purston Hall, a Mansion House built in the 1820s for Thomas Hall and his family, the House and the grounds were later sold to Featherstone Council for £3,600, in the 1950s. The House later became the Council Offices and the grounds were turned into a public park, with boating lake, football pitches, bowling greens and children's play area.
