Description
English: Disruption of actin cytoskeleton in the course of bacterial progression under the cells. The actin cytoskeleton of MDCK was labeled with Lifeact-GFP. Left: actin skeleton, middle: bacteria, right: merge images. The bacteria penetrated the basal compartment when the cytoskeleton vanished, owing to T3SS toxin injection. See Fig 4A for more details.
