English: Time-course of BNI-1-GFP localization during septum formation in Δmst-1. During the formation of multiple, closely spaced septa, BNI-1-GFP formed cortical, centrically and acentrically constricting rings and accumulated around the septal pore of the completed septum. Multiple, closely spaced septa can be formed in a simultaneous as well as sequential manner. The plasma membrane was stained with FM4-64. Images were captured at 20 sec intervals. |
