English: Connect HIP is a three-session, relationship-based intervention that teaches couples techniques and skills to enhance the quality of their relationship, communication, and shared commitment to safer behaviors. Testing for HIV/STDs and medication adherence within a continuum of care are part of the Connect HIP intervention. This video shows a couple speaking with the facilitator using the speaker listener technique when one member of the couple begins problem solving too soon in the intervention process.
