Description
English: PEPFAR, the U.S. government initiative, is working to put an end to the HIV epidemic around the world. Cameroon has an estimated population of 528,490 people living with HIV. As of December 2018, nearly 300,000 were on treatment. In this video, U.S. Ambassador H.E. Peter Barlerin and Permanent Secretary for the National AIDS Control Committee Dr. Jean Bosco Elat Nfetam speak to PEPFAR’s work saving 17 million lives and preventing untild millions from getting HIV infection. #PEPFARSavesLives
