Bahasa Indonesia: Presiden Jokowi dan Menteri Energi Arab Saudi Bahas Kerja Sama di Bidang Energi

Presiden Joko Widodo membahas kerja sama dalam bidang energi antara Indonesia dengan Kerajaan Arab Saudi saat menerima kunjungan kehormatan Menteri Energi, Industri, dan Sumber Daya Mineral Kerajaan Arab Saudi Khalid Al-Falih. Pertemuan keduanya digelar di Royal Guest House, Riyadh, pada Minggu, 14 April 2019.

Menteri Luar Negeri Retno Marsudi yang mendampingi Presiden dalam pertemuan tersebut mengatakan Menteri Energi, Industri, dan Sumber Daya Mineral Arab Saudi menyampaikan apresiasi atas berbagai langkah reformasi yang dilakukan oleh Presiden Republik Indonesia sehingga membuat perusahaan-perusahaan Saudi Arabia ingin bekerja sama dengan perusahaan-perusahaan di Indonesia.

"Salah satu isu lain yang dibahas adalah kemungkinan kerja sama antara Aramco dan Pertamina untuk kilang Cilacap," ujar Retno seusai pertemuan.

Dalam pertemuan tersebut Retno menuturkan ada satu isu yang masih tertunda yaitu terkait dengan masalah valuasi aset yang terus dibahas. Presiden Jokowi, lanjut Retno, menyampaikan agar isu tersebut harus segera diselesaikan.

"Sekembalinya Presiden ke Indonesia, Presiden akan melakukan pertemuan dengan beberapa menteri untuk menyelesaikan masalah ini," lanjut Retno.

Selain melakukan kerja sama di bidang kilang minyak, menurut Retno, pihak Saudi juga tertarik untuk bekerja sama dalam bidang industri petrokimia.

"Menurut rencana akan ada kunjungan dari Saudi untuk ke Indonesia guna membahas rencana peningkatan kerja sama baik di bidang energi yang terkait di bidang minyak dan juga industri Petrokimia," ucap Retno.

Turut mendampingi Presiden dalam pertemuan tersebut yaitu, Menteri Luar Negeri Retno Marsudi, Kepala Staf Kepresidenan Moeldoko, dan Duta Besar Indonesia untuk Kerajaan Arab Saudi Agus Maftuh Abegebriel.
