Summary

[edit]
Description
English: 4-Dimensional imaging of rolling spindles: projection. HeLa-H2B-GFP cells transfected with pooled siRNAs against CENP-W were imaged by 3-dimensional time-lapse microscopy beginning 48 h after transfection, with frames collected every 5 min. This sequence shows a projected image superimposed on a transmitted light image of cells. Two rolling cells are detailed. In one (first), the metaphase plate rotates in a continuous motion through almost 180°. In another, the metaphase plate rotates 90° with respect to the optical axis.
