Deutsch: Pressekonferenz der Stadt Köln mit dem Archäologen Sven Schütte zur Entdeckung des Bodens des spätantiken Statthalterpalastes in Köln bei Grabungen zur archäologischen Zone.
Im Zuge der Arbeiten zur archäologischen Zone / Jüdisches Museum ist bei Grabungsarbeiten an der nördlichen Seite der Renaissancelaube des historischen Rathauses von Köln zur Vorbereitung des Baus des neuen Museums der Boden des spätantiken Statthalterpalastes entdeckt worden. Hinter der Frontmauer zum Rhein ist in zwei Metern Tiefe der Fußboden der sogenannten „Porticus“ des Palastes aus dem vierten Jahrhundert entdeckt worden. |
