Description

Tinted, pre-1914 postcard of Old St Mary's Church, Harrogate, North Riding of Yorkshire, England. The church was built in 1824, and demolished around 1909.

The postcard was published before 1914, because that type of tinting was executed in Bavaria, and that trade ended in 1914 when World War I began. It was published by The Wrench, series 15312, and printed in Saxony. It has a divided back, and is unused. It is, however, a British postcard, with required postage cost 1/2d in the UK, and 1d abroad.
