Banda Singh Bahadur founded the first Sikh state in history. Its territory stretched from Gurdaspur in the west to Dehradun in the east, Jammu in the north, and Panipat in the South, along with areas like Saharanpur, Bikaner and other small cities in North Rajasthan and Western Uttar Pradesh.
