Summary

[edit]
Description
English: Had an old 8GB disk laying around and wanted to see it in action so I connected it to my AmigaOne X1000. Partitioned it with two FFS partitions and started to copy data to it. Unfortunately the camera was too slow to capture the movement of the arm precisely, but anyway :-) One of the partitions had a read/write error which can be seen in the first part of the video. Clonking sounds like you can hear and see here when the video starts is a sign your disk is dying. Backup and replace IMMEDIATELY! Later it gets past the read/write errors and start to copy data. Watch how inefficiently the old "FastFileSystem" is, swinging the head like mad. Later I copy to both partitions at one and then it really gets inefficient with the head swinging all over the place.
