English: Inscribed metal plaque attached to a large beech tree on the lawn of Nethway House, in the parish of Brixham, Devon, commemorating its planting by Prince George, the future King George V, then aged 13 and serving (with his brother) on the cadet training ship HMS Britannia at nearby Dartmouth, Devon. Inscribed: "Planted by HRH Prince George November 2nd 1878"
