L.S.C.: Leidsch Studenten Corps, Virtus Concordia Fides (\'Leiden student association, virtue, unity, loyalty\'). The fraternity was founded in 1839 and merged in 1974 with the sorority V.V.S.L. (Vereeniging voor Vrouwelijke Studenten te Leiden) into the mixed student association Minerva.
The play was about the life of the Dutch writer and statesman, Marnix Lord of Sint-Aldegonde, the probable author of the text of the Dutch national anthem, the Wilhelmus. The play was written and directed by Eduard Veterman. (source: Leidsch Dagblad, Friday 27 June 1930, Page 1)
