Bahasa Indonesia: Kelompok suku-suku Dayak yang bermukim di daerah Ketapang adalah termasuk Dayak Klemantan atau Dayak Darat, terdiri dari suku Ketungau dengan sub-sub suku : Banjur, Baginci, Kriau, Kayong, Laur, Pesaguan, Jelai, Kendawangan, Tulak, Kecurapan, Semandangdengan sub suku Kuwalan. Di Kabupaten Ketapang terdapat Sungai pawan yang merupakan sungai yang terlebar dan terpanjang di kabupaten ini, dan sungai ini memberikan sebuah fenomena yang menarik pada saat kita memperhatikan ragam kebudayaan Dayak di wilayah ini. Masyarakat Dayak di Kabupaten Ketapang dibedakan menjadi dua kelompok yaitu : Kelompok Kiri pawan dan Kelompok Kanan Pawan. Hampir semua kelompok masyarakat Dayak di wilayah Kabupaten Ketapang bermukim di daerah pedalaman, antara lain kelompok-kelompok Dayak : Kuwalan dan Semandang-Simpakng termasuk Gorai, Laur, Satong, Jekak, Kriau atau Krio, Biak atau Bihak, Beginci, Kayong dan Gerunggang, Pesaguan, Jelai atau Jalai, Kendawangan.
English: The Dayak tribes who live in the Ketapang area include Dayak Klemantan or Dayak Darat, consisting of the Ketungau tribe with sub-tribes: Banjur, Baginci, Kriau, Kayong, Laur, Pesaguan, Barley, Kendawangan, Tulak, Kecurapan, Semandangdengan sub-tribes Kuwalan tribe. In Ketapang Regency there is the Pawan River which is the widest and longest river in this district, and this river provides an interesting phenomenon when we pay attention to the diversity of Dayak culture in this region. Dayak communities in Ketapang Regency are divided into two groups, namely: the Left Pawan Group and the Right Pawan Group. Almost all Dayak community groups in the Ketapang Regency live in rural areas, including Dayak groups: Kuwalan and Semandang-Simpakng including Gorai, Laur, Satong, Jekak, Kriau or Krio, Biak or Bihak, Beginci, Kayong and Gerunggang, Pesaguan , Barley or Jalai, Kendawangan.
