| Description |
English: Path junction. One of a number of sign post in the area that give the grid reference (here on the post itself).
Although it has the appearance of a footpath sign (and one arm has a bridleway blue arrow), only one route (that leading off to the bottom left of the photo) has any specific marking on maps (that for an "other route with public access" - so not necessarily specifically a footpath/bridleway). This route leads past Marsh Farm (see 1032726) to Eggardon Hill, with the metalled lane from bottom right to top left being the access from Nettlecombe to North Eggardon Farm, with onward bridleway links to Spyway. |
