Description
English: In this photo, a stretch of the ESO-built access road to the top of the Paranal mountain is shown. This steep section is wide enough to ensure the safe passage of the very large parts of the telescope structures, including the 10-metre wide boxes with the fragile 8.2-m telescope mirrors.
