Summary
[edit]DescriptionPainting of Guru Tegh Bahadur with decorated red border and identifying Gurmukhi inscription at the top.jpg |
English: Painting of Guru Tegh Bahadur with decorated red border and identifying Gurmukhi inscription at the top. It is unknown which of the two figures seated in-discussion is the ninth Sikh guru as it could be either of them. Perhaps the figure on the right is Guru Tegh Bahadur and the left figure is an adult Guru Gobind Singh, his son. But oddly, Guru Tegh Bahadur passed away when Guru Gobind Singh was a child, making this a troublesome interpretation. Perhaps it is an imaginary meeting between the two Gurus with Guru Gobind Singh as an adult. |
