PROCES VAN MEEGEREN; Weekjournaal van Polygoon Hollands Nieuws van week 44 uit 1947.; Voor de Arrondissementsrechtbank te Amsterdam begint het proces tegen de kunstsschilder en vervalser Han van Meegeren. Van Meegeren liet schilderijen van zijn hand doorgaan voor die van oude meesters (Vermeer, Hals, De Hoogh) en toucheerde hiermee enorme bedragen. SHOTS: - ext. gerechtsgebouw; - div. vervalsingen van Van Meegeren: een vrachtauto voert ze aan bij het gerechtsgebouw ; in de rechtszaal worden ze (cu's) opgehangen (als bewijsmateriaal) en bewaakt door de politie ; - aankomst hoofdpersonen bij gerechtsgebouw: officier van Justitie Wassenberg komt aanlopen ; Van Meegeren idem ; - int. stampvolle rechtszaal bij het begin van de eerste zitting: Van Meegeren neemt plaats in de verdachtenbank ; advocaten zitten klaar ; rechters arriveren ; officier Openbaar Ministerie neemt het woord.
