Description
Slovenščina: Java 8 je že nekaj časa zunaj, a še vedno redko vidimo kodo, ki uporablja leto nazaj zelo glasne novosti, kot so lambda-izrazi in tokovi (streams). Z uporabo funkcijskega pristopa se pogosto lahko znebimo dolgih blokov kode in nepotrebnih deklaracij in z zgoščeno sintakso razumljiveje opišemo problem.

Pogledali si bomo primere, kako problem opisati z novostmi iz Jave 8, kaj so funkcijski vmesniki, kako uporabiti interni map/reduce, kdaj uporabiti CompletableFuture -- nov tip, ki razširja Future, poznan iz Jave 5, in nam ponuja sporočilno-voden reaktiven pristop k programski kodi.

Predaval bo Matej Lazar iz podjetja Red Hat.
