Summary

[edit]
Description A view of flooding one mile from my house. It was caused by a breach of a small agricultural reservoir. It's on Oxford Road just west of Niwot, Colorado. Another mile and a half to the west, Left Hand Creek — transformed into a raging torrent by floodwaters — carved a new completely new channel, inundating several houses. The waters have since receded, leaving behind a hundred yard stretch of mud and river boulders about three feet thick. © Tom Yulsman
