Description
English: A photograph of a plaque (center photo) dedicated to the Oxford Castle court room tunnel, which transported prisoners from the courtroom to the nearby prison immediately following a guilty sentence. The tunnel is underground and not shown in this photograph. One of the most notable prisoners to have used the tunnel was convicted murderer Donald Neilson (1936-2011).
