Description
Onthulling monument voor gevallenen; Weekjournaal van Polygoon Hollands Nieuws van week 10 uit 1949.; In Haarlem wordt op de Dreef een monument onthuld ter nagedachtenis aan vijftien mannen die vier jaar geleden tijdens de Tweede Wereldoorlog door de Duitsers werden neergeschoten. SHOTS: De commissaris der Koningin, dr. J.E. baron de Vos van Steenwijk, verricht de onthulling en spreekt enkele woorden iav oa de maker van het beeld, de beeldhouwer Mari Andriessen. Na de onthulling blazen militaire trompetters het signaal 'geef acht', worden enkele ogenblikken stilte in acht genomen en worden, daarna, bij het beeld bloemen en kransen gelegd, oa namens koningin Juliana.
