| Description |
English: Old Belfast-Dublin road south of Loughbrickland See 232259. The old road just south of Loughbrickland was a particularly treacherous piece of road involving many bends. It is now a thing of the past for most road users but some of it remains for local access. This is one section, at Ballintaggart, close to where it leaves the new road with the old road sign still in place. (Note: part of the new road is open to traffic and part is still under construction. It is not yet shown on the OS map). Note - the last section of the "new" road opened on 23 November 2006. |
