Description
Deutsch: Obermarbach (Gde. Petershausen): Maibaum.
Da der Maibaum nach Osten ausgerichtet ist, waren gegen Abend nur Aufnahmen der Tafeln im Gegenlicht möglich. Um die farbenfrohe Bemalung wiederzugeben, sollten zusätzliche Fotos zu früherer Tageszeit gemacht werden. – Wozu die vielen Maibaum-Fotos aus dem Dachauer Land und von anderen Orten? Warum aus jedem Dorf? Je mehr Maibäume ich gesehen habe, desto mehr wird mir klar: Keiner gleicht dem anderen. Jeder hat seine eigene Inschrifttafel, jeder trägt unterschiedliche bildliche Tafeln. Dargestellt sind meist die wichtigsten Gebäude des Orts und darüber eine Auswahl der im Ort vertretenen Berufe (meist beschränkt auf mehr oder weniger traditionelle Handwerksberufe). Daraus ergibt sich eine (ggf. idealisierte) Darstellung des Selbstverständnisses des Ortes und/oder der für den Maibaum zuständigen Vereine, Burschenschaft, Sponsoren usw. – Am Obermarbacher Maibaum sind dies (von oben nach unten):
  • Wetterhahn
  • zwei Kränze
  • ein Paar blau-weißer bayerischer Rauten-Fahnen
  • Imker (Der Beruf ist neuerdings wieder zu höherem Ansehen gekommen.) – zwei Kinder auf einer Wippe
  • ein Rennradfahrer (auf den Straßen im Dachauer Land häufig zu sehen) – zwei Fußball spielende Kinder
  • Bauer mit hoch beladenem Erntewagen – Schmied mit Amboß
  • Maurer mit Kelle und einem Stück Ziegelmauerwerk – Jäger mit Jagdhund und Reh
  • Metzger mit Hackebeil und Schwein – ...(?)
  • Bäuerin mit Kuh beim Melken – Bauer mit Stier
  • Feuerwehrmann und brennendes Haus – Feuerwehrhaus
  • Autounfall mit dezentem Hinweis auf ein Versicherungsunternehmen – (Sanitär-?)Handwerker im Blaumann
  • Kirche – ... (ein Gebäude)
  • Sparkasse (in historischem Gebäude) – Raiffeisenbank
  • ein Paar blau-weißer bayerischer Rauten-Fahnen
