Description
Bahasa Indonesia: Masyarakat Dayak Bedayuh memiliki satu tradisi pengambilan madu yang disebut dengan tradisi nyopuh. Adapun keberadaan tradisi nyopuh di tengah masyarakat dayak Bedayuh pada masa dulu dan masa sekarang sangat berbeda. Tradisi nyopuh pada masa dulu sangat sering dilakukan oleh nenek moyang dayak Bedayuh. Hal ini karena masih banyaknya pohon-pohon besar seperti pohon ketapang, durian dan karet sebagai sarana atau tempat lebah berkembangbiak mendirikan sarang agar menghasilkan madu yang baik. Begitu juga kerana nenek moyang yang masih mempertahankan tradisi nyopuh dengan begitu banyak syarat dan perlengkapannya. Sementara pada saat sekarang tardisi ini sudah mulai jarang dilakukan disebabkan beberapa faktor diantaranya sudah sulit menemui pohon-pohon besar dan juga sudah mulai berkurangnya sesepuh atau tokoh adat khususnya pemantra untuk ritual nyopuh sehingga tidak ada regenerasi ilmu mantra yang dilestarikan. Tradisi nyopuh memiliki beberapa fungsi diantaranya sebagai sarana interaksi masyarakat Dayak Bedayuh Jagoibabang, fungsi usaha ekonomi masyarakat pada tradisi nyopuh terlihat pada pola pembagian hasil nyopuh. Fungsi ritual pada tradisi nyopuh setidaknya terikat pada dua aspek. Aspek pertama adalah aspek bahasa dan kedua aspek pelaksanaan ritual tradisi nyopuh. Sebagai bagian dari budaya yang dimiliki, tradisi ini mengandung banyak nilai budaya, diantaranya nilai gotong royong, nilai kebersamaan, nilai pemerataan, nilai kesabaran, nilai sosial dan nilai kesehatan.
English: The Dayak Bedayuh community had a tradition of taking honey called the nyopuh tradition. The existence of nyopuh tradition in the Dayak Bedayuh community in the past and present was very different. The tradition of nyopuh in the past was very often practiced by Dayak Bedayuh’s ancestors. This was because there were still many large trees such as ketapang, durian and rubber trees as a meant or place where bees breed to build a nest to produce good honey. Likewise, since the ancestors who still maintained the tradition of nyopuh with so many conditions and equipment. While at this time, the tradition had begun to be done rarely due to several factors including it had been difficult to meet large trees and had also begun to decrease the elder or traditional leaders, especially spellers for nyopuh rituals so that no regeneration of the science of spells was preserved. The nyopuh tradition had several functions including as a means of interaction of the Dayak Bedayuh Jagoi Babang community, the function of the community's economic business in the nyopuh tradition was seen in the pattern of the distribution of nyopuh results. The ritual function in the Nyopuh tradition was at least tied to two aspects. The first aspect was the language aspect and the second aspect was the implementation of the nyopuh traditional ritual. As part of its culture, this tradition contained many cultural values, including the value of mutual cooperation, the value of togetherness, the value of equity, the value of patience, social values and health values.
