Português: Com a abertura de um novo campo próximo à sua base na cidade de Malakal, a Missão das Nações Unidas no Sudão do Sul (UNMISS) espera proteger os sul-sudaneses do ciclo de violência que afeta a nação mais jovem do mundo.
Capaz de acomodar 9 mil pessoas, o acampamento estará sob o cuidado das forças de paz da ONU. A proteção de civis tem sido uma das prioridades da Organização no país, que passa por uma crescente crise humanitária desde dezembro do ano passado. |
