Description
English: xERK2-LOC subcellular distribution in a living Xenopus laevis embryo at the yolk plug. The movie shows a vegetal view of the embryo (stage 12, late gastrula) overexpressing xERK2-LOC and is made from 86 confocal z-planes using a 1.00-μm step size between sections. The confocal z-series 3D reconstruction of the yolk plug shows the accumulation of rERK2-LOC in the nuclei of large endodermal cells.
