English: Norman carvings - St Martin's Church, Fangfoss, East Riding of Yorkshire, England. The careful rebuilding of St Martin's in 1849-50 included the reuse of the carved heads along the corbel table. This is an unusual feature on Yorkshire churches and is reminiscent of the splendid carved heads at Kilpeck in Herefordshire. |
