English: Newsreels in which Dutch subjects of a certain week are presented.
Nijmegen was heavely damaged during World War II. Footage of several new development and reconstruction projects that have been started as part of the post war reconstruction. SHOTS: - damaged houses and buildings in the city centre; - the Minister of Post War Reconstruction and Housing, J. in 't Veld, performs the official opening of the construction of an industrial harbour in the Maas-Waal canal: he sets asand pump into action; - shots of the houses in new development areas that are still under construction and the ones that are already finished; a.o. shot with a "moving" camera.

Nijmegen werd in de Tweede Wereldoorlog zwaar beschadigd. Beelden van div. nieuw- en herbouwbouwprojecten die, in het kader van de wederopbouw, zijn opgestart. SHOTS: - beschadigde huizen en gebouwen in de binnenstad; - de minister van Wederopbouw en Volkshuisvesting, mr. J. in 't Veld, verricht de officiële opening van de aanleg van een industriehaven in het Maas-Waalkanaal: hij stelt een zandzuiger in bedrijf; - shots van in aanbouw zijnde en reeds gereed gekomen woningen in nieuwbouwwijken; oa geschoten met "rijdende" camera. |
