Description
Nederlands: Lijsttrekker April Ranshuijsen:

‘Het beste uit onszelf én elkaar halen’, dat is mijn drijfveer in de politiek. Mensen met een financiële, psychische, verstandelijke of fysieke uitdaging worstelen vaak om volwaardig te kunnen meekomen. Dat vreet energie en verkleint de kans op positieve ontwikkeling. Voor ieder persoon is zelfregie en onafhankelijkheid belangrijk. Dat weet ik als persoon met een fysieke functiebeperking maar al te goed. Maar het kan anders!

Ik blijf me inzetten voor een Nijmegen waar mensen met een laag inkomen of (dreigende) financiële problemen snel en goede ondersteuning krijgen. Waar openbare ruimte, gebouwen en informatie voor iedereen goed toegankelijk zijn. Mensen met een uitkering bieden we perspectief door omscholing én baangarantie.

Ik geloof in de kracht van vertrouwen en positieve stimulering. Dat vraagt om een omslag in denken en doen. GroenLinks gaat deze uitdaging graag aan!
