English: This movie shows changes in [Ca2+]i after microejection of ATP in flat sheet mouse stomach preparations containing the muscle layers and the myenteric plexus. Green flashes indicate increase in Fluo-4AM fluorescence as a result of an increase in [Ca2+]i. The macrophages in red were visualized by vital labeling with APC-conjugated anti-F4/80 antibody and overlayed with the Fluo-4AM signal. ATP evoked increase in [Ca2+]i is clearly visible in two macrophages in the field of view. The movie shows a speeded-up sequence of 26 images (sampling frequency 2Hz, original length was 14 sec). |
