Nederlands: Gedeeltelijk Frans- en Nederlandstalige Kadasterkaart uit 1812-1819 van de Kleine Blankaartpolder, de Groote Blankaartpolder en het noordoostelijk deel van de Groote Drooggemaakte Polder, allemaal gelegen rondom Stompwijk (Z.-Holland), waarvan de dorpskern ook op de kaart zichtbaar is. Te zien is o.m. dat er tussen de auteur van de kaart Visscher (1812) en controleur v.Campen (1819) verschil van inzicht bestond over de grens tussen de Kleine Blankaartpolder (in Stompwijk) en Geerpolder (in Zoeterwoude). De Kleine Blankaartpolder was in 1812-1819 nog niet drooggemalen en is te zien als een uitgeveende watervlakte met legakkers en her en der enige kadastraal genummerde eilandjes. Ook de 'Roomsche kerk' van Stompwijk staat aangegeven; deze kerk werd rond 1871 gesloopt en is de voorloper van de huidige kerk. Ook de "Groote Blankaart Watermolen" staat aangegeven; deze werd in 1894 gesloopt. De tekst op de kaart luidt: Tekst boven: (Doorgestreept: SECTION C dite OMMEDYK De La COMMUNE de LEIDSCHENDAM) Commencé le 20 Mai et achevé le 19 Juin 1812. Levé par le Sousigné Géomêtre Secondaire H. Visscher. (Tekst beneden:) Gemeente Stompwijk Sectie C van N° 1 tot 371 Bis J. genaamd Ommedijk. Eerste Blad. Opgemeten in den Jare 1812 door den Landmeter der Tweede Klasse H. Visscher. Herzien en Gecompleteerd in den Jare 1819 door mij, Landmeter der Eerste Klasse van het Kadaster W.J. van Campen. Gecarteerd naar de Schaal van 1 a 2500 Ellen.
English: Cadastral map from 1812-1819 with annotations in Dutch and French of the Small Blankaart Polder, the Large Blankaart Polder and the north-eastern part of the Large Reclaimed Polder (Groote Drooggemaakte Polder), all located around Stompwijk (Province South Holland, Netherlands). It can be seen that between the author of the map Visscher (1812) and his superior Van Campen (1819) a difference of opinion existed as to the boundary between the Small Blankaart Polder and the Geer Polder. In 1812-1819 the Small Blankaart Polder had not yet been reclaimed and can be seen as an artificial lake caused by peat dredging, with scattered peat islets having their own cadastral number. The Catholic church of Stompwijk is also shown, this church was demolished around 1871 and was the forerunner of the present church. Finally, the Large Blankaart Water Mill is shown; it was demolished in 1894. |
