English: Newsreels in which Dutch subjects of a certain week are presented.
Summary of Remembrance Day WW II: - A bell meant for the National Army monument at the Grebbeberg is cast in a bell-foundry in Asten in the presence of esquire Bosch Ridder van Rosenthal and the mayor of Rhenen. At this monument a militairy commemoration ceremony is held with a.o. the laying of a wreath by minister of War, C. Staf; - prime minister Drees unveils a war monument in Enschede in the presence of its designer and maker, sculptor Mari Andriessen.
Nederlands: Bioscoopjournaals waarin Nederlandse onderwerpen van een bepaalde week worden gepresenteerd.
Samenvatting van de Dodenherdenking WO II: - In een klokkengieterij in Asten wordt, iav jhr. Bosch Ridder van Rosenthal, burgemeester van Rhenen, een klok gegoten die bestemd is voor het Nationaal Legermonument op de Grebbeberg. Bij dit monument vindt een militaire herdenkingsplechtigheid plaats met onder meer een kranslegging door minister C. Staf van Oorlog; - premier Drees onthult in Enschede een oorlogsmonument iav onder meer de ontwerper en vervaardiger, de beeldhouwer Mari Andriessen. |
