English: Newsreels in which Dutch subjects of a certain week are presented.
The National Film Archive of the RVD (Rijksvoorlichtingsdienst, Government Information Service) is housed in a former German bunker in the dunes near Scheveningen. The film archive contains the modern history of the Netherlands. The film bunker has been restored and special safes were installed to store the flammable nitrate films. SHOTS: ext. film bunker in the dunes Scheveningen; flammable nitrate films in wheeled safes; burning nitrate film; excerpts from films that are stored in the bunker; reels of films in the depot.

In de duinen bij Scheveningen is in een voormalige Duitse bunker het Nationaal Filmarchief van de RVD gevestigd. Het filmarchief omvat de moderne geschiedenis van Nederland. De filmbunker is gerestaureerd en er zijn speciale kluizen gebouwd voor de opslag van brandbare nitraatfilms. SHOTS: ext. filmbunker in de duinen bij Scheveningen; brandbare nitraatfilms in verrijdbare kluizen; brandende nitraatfilm; fragmenten uit films die in de bunker zijn opgeslagen; filmrollen in het magazijn. |
