卷首修志名單題總理鑑定為崇俊,纂輯監工,刊刻為王椿,校正補遺為王培森。總理鑑定,除崇俊外,還有張正奎,且題名在崇俊前故多數書目以張正奎為主修。考張正奎到任 仁懷廳同知為光緒23年7月,時廳志已竣稿 均不傳。此志是該州志乘現存鼎早一部。兩年,張正奎至多做了些校仇補遺工作,故主修者仍以崇俊為是。 志共八卷,首一卷,首卷有謝廷佐光緒28年序,崇俊光緒21年序,目錄、凡例、星宿圖、參宿圖、修志名單,引證書目,輿圖、城池圖, 附陳熙晉及楊拱舊志序,陳志修志姓氏。次為志,志目正文與目錄略有出入,茲據正文擬目如次;卷一
