鍬形蕙斎(北尾政美)画、素外撰の絵俳書。色摺り。享和2年(1802)初秋、江戸・須原屋市兵衛板、大本1冊。享和2年夏の素外の序に「爰に鱗介の生写あり、書林申椒堂梓に上せむことを思ひ、予に社中の発句を乞、将題を需む」とあるように、魚貝の図譜に、素外撰の発句を添えたもの。題名の由来は、同序に「今蕙子精神をもとゝす、これを滑稽の淵に踊らせ、又諧語の浪に乗すれは、頓て龍闕にも朝せむ勢ひ見えたり、よて龍乃宮津子と号し与え侍るなり」とあり、蕙斎の精神を基とした描図に俳諧の滑稽を掛け合わせて、生動する魚貝類によって、竜宮の朝政を再現させるという意により命名したという。本草図譜のような精密な線描に、淡泊な色合いの重ね摺り、背から腹にかけての拭きぼかしなど、微妙な色調による表現が見どころ。巻末に、素外ほかの発句だけの丁を配する。勝間竜水の『海幸』の影響が感じられる。(鈴木淳)(2017.2)
