大般若波羅蜜多経 存巻第429 唐釈玄奘訳 〔南北朝〕刊〔室町〕修  1軸巻子装。室町時代頃の原装の軸を遺し、長さ28.5cm。やはり室町時代頃のものと思しき栗皮表紙(縦26.5横22.2cm)を附す。貼題簽に「函百二十九」と室町時代頃の墨書あり。料紙は黄色楮紙で、約44cmの長さのものを20紙つなぎ合わせ用いている。匡郭や界線はなく、印面の高さは20.8cm。各紙に21~24行を印刷する。印面には善し悪しがあり、版木の磨滅とともに字がすれているのは原刻であり、鮮明な字様は室町時代頃に版木を補修したものと推測される。従って印刷もそれ以降になろう。また、原刻は、字様が丸みを帯びるが補刻はやや硬い印象がある。原刻か補刻かは写真だと見分けにくいかも知れないが、首の30行分は補刻、以下、第二分外道品第三十三の第2行までが原刻。それ以後は補刻と推測される。本文には、朱の句点、朱のヲコト点、墨の附訓が書き入れられ、末尾に「一校了」と墨書があり、全て同筆と思しく、室町時代のものと推測される。「亀田文庫」(亀田候吉寄贈基金による購入資料)印がある。昭和19年3月22日購入。(高橋智)(2021.2)
